Sponsored of a Student Membership A student can sponsor a non-student member who lives with them. A sponsored member is defined as an individual who resides with a current WELL member and who is over the age of 18. A sponsored membership can be purchased at The WELL's front desk with a valid photo ID, and proof of residency (Lease or Utility Bill with names of both individuals).The WELL member must be present when the sponsored member is filling out his/her application and waiver WELL Guest Policy All students are eligible to bring in one guest per day. All WELL members receive one FREE guest pass semester. After that, guest pass are $10 per day, or $5 with a valid One Card.

Private classes are great for any age and ability level - Sports teams, greek life, birthday parties, staff retreats, etc! Schedule your own group fitness class to be held either at The WELL, or at your location of choice! Currently all private fitness classes are offered in a virtual format. We use activity-based interventions to support a balanced and active life among our participants. Our services include group recreation, individualized sessions with a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, and accommodations for students with disabilities. Grow Your Garden Take a break from your day and join us in the WELL garden for therapeutic horticulture! Learn about the basics of maintaining a garden and engage in mindful activities such as meditation, stretching, journaling, and nature sketching. Previous gardening experience is not required and all tools and supplies will be provided. Dates: Feb. 24, March 17, April 28 Register Now Adaptive Sports The Recreational Therapy Department and City of Sacramento Access Leisure will teach participants the basic skills needed to play a variety of adaptive sports. The WELL Campus Recreation Center is so much more than a gym! Our mission, structure, programs, and services are rooted in social responsibility. The WELL is an investment you can be proud of! Students Faculty/Staff Alumni Sponsored Members What's Included in WELL Membership? Fitness Classes The WELL offers over 70 fitness classes per week each semester. Most of our classes are free to members including Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, Barre, Cycle, Pilates, etc. To sign up for a free fitness class, visit our classes page or download the MINDBDOY app. to register. All equipment for classes is provided at no charge, however, if you have your own yoga mat you are welcome to bring it. Lockers, Towels, and Equipment Our locker rooms include showers, full and half lockers, and self-setting combination locks. You do not need to bring a lock with you. All locker rooms are located on the first floor of The WELL. The Retreat is a brand new, all gender space and is one of the most inclusive spaces in the WELL including ADA accessible showers and restrooms. This area is located down the hall past the gym box and MAC court. The WELL offers a complementary towel service. Bath towels and gym towels can be checked out at the equipment or fitness desk for daily use. Guest Passes A guest is a member-sponsored user of the facility or any person who is eligible for membership. Guests will be the responsibility of the member at all times while visiting the WELL.
