How do I get my login info/ credentials? Please use your Sac State credentials. No credentials? Stop by The WELL Front Desk or WELL Engagement Center for assistance. Do I need the app to use The WELL? The app is our main tool for facility access, as it ensures a touchless facility check-in. If you do not want to use the app for facility access you will need to check-in with an attendant who can verify membership. Can I make racquetball court reservations? This feature is not available at this time. Please visit or call (916-278-9355 ext 5) the Equipment Desk to make a reservation. Where can I get help using the app? Special Fitness Programs and Events Can't get enough of our fitness classes? Grab some friends and join us for our Fitness Special Events. We host a variety of events each semester to keep you moving! Spring 2025 Events Self-Defense $20 registration fee; register through the Union WELL Connect app. Classes take place every Monday and Wednesday from 5:15 to 6:15 pm. Session I: Level 1 February 3-26th Session II: Level 1+2 March 3-26th Group Fit Club Attend 8 classes between March 1-30 to receive a t-shirt. Register by March 15th. 11th Annual Yoga Night The special event is hosted in collaboration with UNIQUE and will be held in the University Union Ballroom. Thursday, March 27th at 7:30 pm. With MINDBODY you can reserve your spot up to two weeks in advance, and add a fitness class to your personal calendar ahead of time, so you never miss a workout! Create Your Account Download The App You can reserve two-weeks ahead of time on the website or through the mobile app, or you can drop-in to a class without reserving. Feel Empowered Join us for this progressive 4-week program taught by retired CSUS police sergeant, defensive tactics trainer, and gang officer, Vic Vinson. He has a 2nd degree black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate, and Goju Ryu Karate, and has been a martial artist for over 30 years. He attended Krav Maga training in 1995, and P.O.S.T. defensive tactics training, to teach self-defense and street combative training. Self-defense builds on itself from week to week. Space is limited. Advanced registration is available. In order to park on campus please purchase a parking pass through UTAPS, or a daily parking pass through the PaytoPark app. We encourage environmentally friendly alternative forms of transportation, such as bikes, scooters, Light rail, carpooling, etc. in order to save money on parking. To sign up for membership, stop by The WELL Engagement Center or Front Desk with your Alumni Association card or confirmation e-mail. Alumni Membership Process Step 1: Join the Alumni Association The first step to becoming a WELL alumni member is to join the Sacramento State Alumni Association. Since The WELL is not open to the community, we require this membership to re-associate graduates with the Sac State campus through an active affiliation. Alumni can activate their Alumni Association membership online, or in person at the Harper Alumni Association. Once you have joined the Alumni Association, please come to The WELL's Engagement Center or Front Desk to show us your confirmation e-mail or Alumni Association card. Step 2. Select the Best WELL Membership for Your Needs The WELL offers a variety of membership options for Alumni who are current members of the Alumni Association. WELL Alumni Membership options Monthly Recurring Membership: are billed monthly and have a 4-month minimum commitment. Alumni - $35/ mo. …are free to members including Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, Barre, Cycle, Pilates, etc. To sign up for a free fitness class, visit our classes page or download the MINDBDOY app. to register. All equipment for classes is provided at no charge, however, if you have your own yoga mat you are welcome to bring it. Lockers, Towels, and Equipment Our locker rooms include showers, full and half lockers, and self-setting combination locks. You do not need to bring a lock with you. All locker rooms are located on the first floor of The WELL. The Retreat is a brand new, all gender space and is one of the most inclusive spaces in the WELL including ADA accessible showers and restrooms. This area is located down the hall past the gym box and MAC court. The WELL offers a complementary towel service. Bath towels and gym towels can be checked out at the equipment or fitness desk for daily use. Guest Passes A guest is a member-sponsored user of the facility or any person who is eligible for membership. Guests will be the responsibility of the member at all times while visiting the WELL. Members must remain in the building with their guests at all times. Guests must be 18 years of age or older. Guests must show a valid photo ID to use the facility. Free Guest Passes Each WELL member receives one FREE guest pass per semester! To redeem your free guest pass stop by The WELL Front Desk on the day your guest would like to workout.
