Guest Passes A guest is a member-sponsored user of the facility, or any person who is eligible for membership. Guests will be the responsibility of the member at all times while visiting the WELL. Members must remain in the building with their guests at all times. Guests must be 18 years of age or older. Guests must show a valid photo ID to use the facility. Free Guest Passes Each WELL member receives one FREE guest pass per semester! To redeem your free guest pass simply stop by The WELL Front Desk on the day your guest would like to work out. Your unused free guest pass will not roll over from semester to semester. Max one guest per day. Additional Guest Passes Members may guest passes are available for purchase for $10. Max one guest per day. Self-Sponsored Guest Pass Guests are able to self-sponsored themselves for $5 with a valid One Card. Guests must present their One Card every time they enter the facility to receive the discounted $5.00 rate. Seven Day Consecutive Guest Passes One-week passes are now available for $35. The pass is valid for seven consecutive days starting from the date of purchase. Weekender Guest Passes Three-day weekender passes are $15 and available for use Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! The WELLZONE
…room one hour prior to kickoff Guests may arrive up until 30 minutes after kickoff Outside food and beverage is not permitted (including water bottles) Under no circumstances will any alcoholic beverages be permitted Guests will have access to the stadium through the gates on the lower level of the WELLZONE. Guests will have to show their wristband to gain re-entry into the WELLZONE from the stadium. Access to the stadium from the WELLZONE will close at the end of the third quarter and no reentry to the WELLZONE will be allowed after that point. Sac State Athletic Game Day Policies All WELLzone Attendees must follow current Sac State Athletics' Hornet Stadium Policies. Below are prohibited items: No outside metal, aluminum or glass containers for food or beverages will be permitted. Thermos containers or those similar in style will not be permitted. Sealed, single-serving juice boxes and baby formula/baby food are permitted. No umbrellas. Stadium cushions and blankets may be brought into the stadium as long as they do not exceed the maximum size allowed in the clear bag policy. Unstructured Opportunities to Play The Sports You Love The Informal Rec department offers unstructured opportunities to participate in sports and fitness activities, by providing the necessary space and equipment for free! It is the ideal alternative for those looking to stay in shape with a non-structured program at The WELL. Some of those activities include: badminton, basketball, racquetball, soccer and volleyball. Below is the general semester schedule, however the schedule is subject to change. Informal Recreation Schedule While the Gym Box is closed for the Event Center Project, all Informal Recreation will be held in the MAC Court. The schedule changes every week, click below for the upcoming schedule and/or consult the hallway monitors in The WELL. If you are taking any Sac State summer courses for session 1, session 2 or both - that means your Summer Student 2025 Membership begins May 19th and is valid through August 17th. You will not need to purchase a WELL membership. As long as your membership is active, it will automatically switch to summer and absolutely no action is required. Not attending classes this summer? If you will be a student in the fall, you can purchase still purchase a summer semester membership. You will want to take advantage of our Student Summer Steal - For $50 you get access all summer long from May 19th through till Fall membership begins on August 17th. Climbing
…The WELL. This safety orientation serves as your all-access pass to bouldering in our facility. After completing it, you are free to rent shoes and boulder in our gym any time that the WELL is open. The orientation also allows you to participate in top rope climbing with our staff during staffed top rope hours. You must earn a score of 100% on the Orientation Quiz below after watching our video! You are welcome to take the test as many times as you need to or see a Climbing Wall Attendant to complete an orientation in-person. Safety Orientation Quiz Hornet Hill Hornet Hill is our introductory route at The Wall. This route is great for beginner climbers! Participants will climb to the top of the wall, and place a ping pong ball with their name into Herky's nest. Then, the ball will roll all they way down into our case of students who have conquered the hill. At the end of each semester, we draw a winner of a great giveaway. Climbers can simply stop by the wall during Top Rope hours to climb Hornet Hill. Hornet Hill is great for First Year Experience classes and team building as well! Mindbody
…reserve one of our free classes ahead of time. MINDBODY is a tool to reserve your spot if the class fills up, however, you are welcome to drop-in to any of our free classes! If there is space left in the class, the instructor will check you in even if you did not reserve a spot. However, for our paid Small Group Training classes, you must reserve through MINDBODY in order to pay for a semester pass, or for a single class drop-in. What's Reservable Through MINDBODY For The WELL? We currently have the following on MINDBODY: Free Fitness Classes: available to reserve two weeks prior to the class time. Small Group Training Classes: available to reserve 24 hours prior to the class time. Self Defense: A 6-week program taught by expert instructor, Vic Vinson, to help students feel empowered to stop a predatory attack. This program meets twice per week. Self Defense is $10 for the entire 6-week session, and can be purcahsed through our Self Defense page on the WELL website.
