…to holidays and adjusted facility hours. Climbing Safety Orientation Members are required to complete a safety orientation before their first time climbing at The WELL. This safety orientation serves as your all-access pass to bouldering in our facility. After completing it, you are free to rent shoes and boulder in our gym any time that the WELL is open. The orientation also allows you to participate in top rope climbing with our staff during staffed top rope hours. You must earn a score of 100% on the Orientation Quiz below after watching our video! You are welcome to take the test as many times as you need to or see a Climbing Wall Attendant to complete an orientation in-person. Safety Orientation Quiz Hornet Hill Hornet Hill is our introductory route at The Wall. This route is great for beginner climbers! Participants will climb to the top of the wall, and place a ping pong ball with their name into Herky's nest. Then, the ball will roll all they way down into our case of students who have conquered the hill. At the end of each semester, we draw a winner of a great giveaway. Climbers can simply stop by the wall during Top Rope hours to climb Hornet Hill. Hornet Hill is great for First Year Experience classes and team building as well! Facility Reservations

If you have an existing OPUS account, and need to add The WELL as a location for reservations, please email us to have your account updated. Include the account name you use to log into OPUS, so we can quickly update your account in our system. To use OPUS on a wireless connection, you must be logged into Global Protect. Why The WELL
…academic success. The WELL uses 7 dimensions of Wellness to create programs and services that encourage student engagement outside of the classroom. Student Development Union/WELL Inc. employs approximately 200 student part-time staff. The WELL is committed to developing students professionally through innovation, collaboration, and education. Student Development is an intentional practice of maintaining the student experience outside of academics, as well as, practical application of critical thinking and professional skills to prepare for life after graduation. Environmentally Responsible The Well is a LEED Green Building project. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is governed by the U.S. Green Building Council. There are several levels of LEED certification that a project can achieve: Basic, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These certifications are based on a point system for meeting environmental goals in the new construction of a building. The WELL has earned Gold Certification with 41 points in the following categories: Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, Innovation and Process, and Sustainable Sites. Nonprofit Union/WELL Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit that exists for the benefit of Sacramento State students, affiliates, and alumni. The WELL is a campus auxiliary. The majority of funding for The WELL comes from student fees. There is no additional fee to use The WELL for Sac State Students. The Well has been funded by a fee voted on by the students. All students are eligible for membership to The Well as part of the student fees they pay each semester in their tuition.

Sac State Athletics' Clear Bag Policy To provide a safer environment for the public and expedite entry into Hornet Stadium, Sacramento State has implemented a policy limiting the size and type of bag allowed into the stadium for all events. We strongly encourage you to not bring any types of bags, but have outlined what is permissible. Fans will be able to carry only the following style and size bag into the stadium: Bags that are clear and do not exceed 12” long by 12” high by 6” wide; One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag; Small clutch purses, with or without a handle or strap, not exceeding 4.5” by 6.5”. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary bags after inspection at any entrance. Prohibited items will not be held at the event and must be returned to your vehicle. Seat cushions without pockets or compartments will be permitted. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purse or bags that are larger than a clutch bag, coolers, brief cases, backpacks, fanny packs, luggage of any kind, computer bags, camera bags, or binocular cases. Add a sponsored member to your WELL membership today! A sponsored member is defined as an individual who resides with a current WELL member and who is over the age of 18. A sponsored membership can be purchased at The WELL's Engagement Center or Front Desk with a valid photo ID, and proof of residency (Lease or Utility Bill with names of both individuals). The WELL member must be present when the sponsored member is filling out his/her application and waiver. Sponsored of a WELL Member The WELL offers both Monthly Recurring and Pay In Full contracts for a sponsored of a Student, Affiliate or an Alumni WELL member. Mindbody
…to cancel your resevation, so members on the waiting list have a chance to sign-up for that class. If you have not checked into the class 5-minutes before the class begins, MINDBODY will automatically cancel your reservation to make room for someone else. If your reservation gets cancelled because you haven't checked in, you can still attend the class as long as it is not full. The instructor will assist you with resigning up for the class once you arrive. If you have to cancel a Small Group Training class for which you purchased a $6 single class drop-in, your drop-in pass is only vaild on the date of purchase. *Please Note: We do not offer refunds for missed Small Group Training classes except for medical emergencies with a doctors note. Sac State 5K Fun Run
…Check out the race results here! The Sac State 5K Fun Run is an event for every physical level and ability! This is a run that you will love as you make your way through the beautiful Sacramento State campus. This race is open to everyone! Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members of all ages are welcome to sign up to be a part of this University tradition. We host a wide range of abilities from competitive 5K enthusiasts to casual run/walkers.
