Lap swim has been suspended indefinitely as of May 17th. We remain steadfast in our commitment to serving students and the campus community through our other programs including Fitness, Intramural Sports, Climbing, Informal Recreation, Recreational Therapy and more. Concluding Lap Swim will allow us to provide more support, resources and energy to these programs and our facility, all of which continue to grow and thrive. How do I get my login info/ credentials? Please use your Sac State credentials. No credentials? Stop by The WELL Front Desk or WELL Engagement Center for assistance. Do I need the app to use The WELL?​​ ​​The app is our main tool for facility access, as it ensures a touchless facility check-in. If you do not want to use the app for facility access you will need to check-in with an attendant who can verify membership. Can I make racquetball court reservations? This feature is not available at this time. Please visit or call (916-278-9355 ext 5) the Equipment Desk to make a reservation. No matter how you sign-up, you will receive an e-mail verification. You must verify your account through the e-mail verification before you are able to book a fitness class. 1. You can create a free MINDBODY account online through The WELL website. 2. You can download the mobile app. Download now. 3. You can stop by the fitness desk at The WELL, or drop into a free fitness class. There the fitness staff can create an account for you! I Created an Account, Now How Do I Reserve a Class? Reserve through The WELL Website: Visit The WELL’s classes page. There, you will see this week’s fitness schedule. You can click on a class to see the class description, or click on the instructor’s name to see their instructor bio. To reserve a class, you will click on the word “sign-up.” From there, MINDBODY will promp you to sign-in to your account. Most of our classes are free, but Small Group Training classes are still associated with a small fee. You can purchase Small Group Training directly through MINDBODY on our website. Once you have reserved the class, you will receive a confirmation e-mail for your class reservation. Alumni Membership Process Step 1: Join the Alumni Association The first step to becoming a WELL alumni member is to join the Sacramento State Alumni Association. Since The WELL is not open to the community, we require this membership to re-associate graduates with the Sac State campus through an active affiliation. Alumni can activate their Alumni Association membership online, or in person at the Harper Alumni Association. Once you have joined the Alumni Association, please come to The WELL's Engagement Center or Front Desk to show us your confirmation e-mail or Alumni Association card. Step 2. Select the Best WELL Membership for Your Needs The WELL offers a variety of membership options for Alumni who are current members of the Alumni Association. Recreational Therapy

…for Sac State students. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities and will also learn how to use different types of adaptive equipment. Click below to sign up! Adaptive Sports (Fridays, 8:30 am - 11:30 am) The Recreational Therapy Department teaches participants basic skills needed to play a variety of Adaptive Sports. This program is done in collaboration with Access Leisure from The City of Sacramento. Volunteers can expect to assist with facilitating drills, retrieving equipment, and playing alongside participants. Therapeutic Horticulture (Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 am - 11:30 am) Volunteers will participate in nature engagement activities alongside students with neurodiversities from two local Sacramento School Districts. Activities include but are not limited to, meditation, mindful stretching, nature sketching, garden education games, and garden maintenance. The garden features raised flower beds, adaptive tools, and a wide variety of plant life for participants and volunteers to enjoy. Unified Sports: Basketball (Thursdays, 9 am-11:30 am) The Recreational Therapy Department, in collaboration with Special Olympics, works with students with neurodiversities from two Sacramento Unified School Districts to develop fundamental skills needed to play basketball over the course of eight weeks. Volunteers will have the opportunity to facilitate drills in small groups and work together to coach a team of participants. No experience or knowledge in basketball is necessary to volunteer. Why The WELL

…The WELL offers over 70 fitness classes per week each semester. Most of our classes are free to members including Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, Barre, Cycle, Pilates, etc. To sign up for a free fitness class, visit our classes page or download the MINDBDOY app. to register. All equipment for classes is provided at no charge, however, if you have your own yoga mat you are welcome to bring it. Lockers, Towels, and Equipment Our locker rooms include showers, full and half lockers, and self-setting combination locks. You do not need to bring a lock with you. All locker rooms are located on the first floor of The WELL. The Retreat is a brand new, all gender space and is one of the most inclusive spaces in the WELL including ADA accessible showers and restrooms. This area is located down the hall past the gym box and MAC court. The WELL offers a complementary towel service. Bath towels and gym towels can be checked out at the equipment or fitness desk for daily use. Guest Passes A guest is a member-sponsored user of the facility or any person who is eligible for membership. Guests will be the responsibility of the member at all times while visiting the WELL. Members must remain in the building with their guests at all times. Guests must be 18 years of age or older. …Stacking: April 9th Movie Night: May 14th Special Events Throughout the year, The WELL hosts several competitions and events at the climbing wall. Whether you are a beginner or experienced climber we have an event for you. Go Bould'er Go Home The Go Bould'er Go Home bouldering competition is an annual Fall competition! All skill levels are encouraged to sign up. In addition to podium prizes, we're giving away some awesome opportunity drawing giveaways, plus a day of awesome climbing and friendly competition. Mile High Climb Climb 1 vertical mile at The WELL in February to earn the Mile High shirt and other prizes! Join us on Jan. 31st for our kick-off event. Level Up Join us for this bouldering competition on March 22, 2025. All abilities are encouraged! Prizes will be awarded to winners and giveaways for participants. This event is $10 for WELL members and $20 for non-WELL members. Family Climbing Family Climb is an opportunity for both WELL members and CSUS One Card holders to bring family and children to try rock climbing!
