Clarissa Jimenez

Role at The WELL: Clarissa provides management for all fitness operations and programs including personal training, group fitness, fitness desk staff, and fitness equipment. Background/Education: Clarissa attended San Diego State for her undergraduate degree, and earned her M.S in Kinesiology, Integrative Wellness from Point Loma Nazarene University. While in San Diego, she worked in a variety of health and wellness settings as a Personal Trainer and ultimately ended her time in that area as a Study Coach for the American Council on Exercise. Clarissa started her journey with Sacramento State University in 2019 and her favorite part of working at The WELL is connecting and building relationships with the students. Fun Fact: Clarissa was originally a vocal performance major before she fell in love with health and wellness. Favorite thing to do at The WELL: Take classes! Students Faculty/Staff Alumni Sponsored Members What's Included in WELL Membership? Fitness Classes The WELL offers over 70 fitness classes per week each semester. Most of our classes are free to members including Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, Barre, Cycle, Pilates, etc. To sign up for a free fitness class, visit our classes page or download the MINDBDOY app. to register. All equipment for classes is provided at no charge, however, if you have your own yoga mat you are welcome to bring it. Lockers, Towels, and Equipment Our locker rooms include showers, full and half lockers, and self-setting combination locks. You do not need to bring a lock with you. All locker rooms are located on the first floor of The WELL. The Retreat is a brand new, all gender space and is one of the most inclusive spaces in the WELL including ADA accessible showers and restrooms. This area is located down the hall past the gym box and MAC court. The WELL offers a complementary towel service. As an affiliate member, you have the opportunity to bring guests to our facility. You'll be pleased to know that the first guest each semester is free, with each additional guest pass costing $10 per day, $15 for the weekend, or $35 for a seven-day consecutive pass. Please note that guests must be over the age of 18 and have a valid photo ID. We also offer the option for Affiliate members to sponsor non-affiliated individuals who reside with them, such as spouses, children, and roommates over the age of 18. However, it's important to note that at this time, we are not offering WELL memberships to non-affiliated community members. Sac State 5K Fun Run

…the beautiful Sacramento State campus. This race is open to everyone! Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members of all ages are welcome to sign up to be a part of this University tradition. We host a wide range of abilities from competitive 5K enthusiasts to casual run/walkers. We hope that you join us for this annual event, and have a great 5K experience at Sac State! 17th Annual Sac State 5k Fun Run: Hornets in Bloom Date: Thursday, April 17, 2025 Start Time: 6:00 pm Start/Finish Lines: In front of The WELL Course Map: Click here Day of Activities Zumba Warm-up & more to come! Registration The Sac State 5K Fun Run is open to all members of the Sacramento community. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate. There is no age limit for participating. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Participants with strollers are welcome, however, strollers must start at the back of the race for safety. Dogs are not allowed at the race, with the exception of Service Animals.
